HE-LI 03/A LiFePO4 “work” battery

The HE-LI 03/A is a compact, high-energy-density LiFePO4 battery based on stable and safe chemistry, with built-in BMS protection and Bluetooth monitoring capability.

It can be an ideal choice for EnergonX PowerBox systems, DC applications, electric vehicles, or solar use cases where safety, good load capacity, and long service life are important.

Why is it useful?

It offers good energy density, lower weight, and significantly better load capacity compared to traditional lead-acid batteries of the same capacity.

What does the built-in BMS monitor?

It monitors current, cell voltages, and temperature, and in case of a problem it can disconnect the system and later reconnect automatically.

What does Bluetooth add?

The main battery parameters can be checked via a smartphone app, making it easier to monitor the condition of the system.

Use and important notes

  • Long service life: with proper use it can achieve a service life of over 10 years, and the manufacturer specifies approx. 80% remaining capacity after 2000 full cycles.
  • Load capacity: the built-in protection electronics are matched to the battery capacity, and a 100Ah version can typically also provide 100A continuous load.
  • Bluetooth monitoring: the main parameters can be checked in the app, which helps operation and fault prevention.
  • Gentle initial use: during the first approx. 20 cycles it is advisable to avoid deep discharge and prolonged heavy loading.
  • Storage: self-discharge is approx. 3% per month, and for longer storage a full recharge every quarter is recommended.
  • Charging: due to the built-in protection electronics, battery chargers with the appropriate voltage can be used, but the optimised charger is the best solution.
