Inverter – Green Cell 12 V → 220 V/1500W (pure sine wave)

External inverter module

Powerful pure sine 12V → 230V inverter for larger mobile power needs. With 1500 W continuous and 3000 W peak power, it is also a good choice for sensitive and inductive loads.

12V → 230V 1500W 3000W peak Pure sine USB
Key features
  • Type: Green Cell (GC) pure sine inverter, 12 V DC → 230 V AC / 50 Hz
  • Power: 1500 W continuous / 3000 W peak
  • Output: 230V mains voltage, EU socket and USB port
  • Construction: aluminium housing, intelligent cooling, built-in protections
  • EnergonX compatibility: recommended as an external module for systems with at least around 150 Ah, preferably 200 Ah or more 12V battery capacity
  • Recommended platform: mainly NOMAD / KARAVAN / EXPLORER families with suitable battery capacity

Important: at this power level the DC side may require close to 150 A, so correct battery sizing, cabling and connection quality are critical.

Serious 230V output from a 12V system

The Green Cell (GC) 12V → 230V pure sine inverter is designed to deliver real, stable 230V mains voltage from a 12V battery system wherever no wall outlet is available.

With 1500 W continuous and 3000 W peak power, it is suitable not only for smaller electronic devices, but also for sensitive or higher-startup-current loads such as refrigerator compressors, circulation pumps, boiler control units or certain instruments.

Why is it a strong choice?

Because it uses pure sine output, the waveform is close to household mains electricity, making it a safer and more predictable solution for sensitive equipment.

What can it deliver?

It provides 1500 W continuous load and 3000 W startup peak, giving useful reserve even with more demanding loads.

Where is it recommended?

In the EnergonX system it is recommended as an external module for units equipped with at least around 150 Ah, but preferably 200 Ah or larger 12V battery capacity.

EnergonX compatibility

  • This inverter is an external module, so it should not be interpreted as a built-in inverter PowerBox version.
  • At 1500 W load, the DC side may require close to 150 A.
  • For this reason, an EnergonX unit with at least around 150 Ah, but preferably 200 Ah or more 12V battery capacity is recommended.
  • In practice, this typically matches NOMAD / KARAVAN / EXPLORER models.
  • The decisive factor is not only stored energy, but whether the battery and the connection system can reliably handle the high current load.

Installation and use

  • It is best connected directly to the battery with short cables of suitable cross-section.
  • The fuse or breaker should be placed close to the battery terminal.
  • At this power level, it is worth using quality lugs, stable connections and proper high-current protection.
  • With inductive loads, always leave sufficient power reserve because of startup current.
  • The number of EU sockets may vary by package version, so it is worth checking the exact version when ordering.

Package contents

  • Inverter unit
  • Battery cables for direct connection
  • Spare fuses
  • User manual
Important: this inverter should not be matched based only on theoretical peak output, but on whether the given EnergonX unit’s battery, cabling and high-current connection can safely and reliably handle roughly 150 A DC load.
