Important: To use the full output capacity, the main fuse, main DC wiring, Anderson connector, battery cables and battery/BMS load capability must be checked at system level. On an existing EnergonX unit, main fuse, wiring or battery replacement may be required.

The device can operate from both 12V and 24V battery inputs. Lower rated power is available in 12V mode and higher rated power in 24V mode.

EnergonX external inverter module

It can be electrically matched with every 12V and 24V EnergonX PowerBox model, but the complete system sizing must be checked separately.

Higher power means higher system requirements

To use the full inverter capacity, the main fuse, main DC wiring, Anderson connector, battery cabling and suitable BMS load capability are required.

The model name does not mean the same continuous power in every mode

The TY-PSW-6000 provides different rated and peak output in 12V and 24V modes. Before selection, system voltage, battery BMS, main fuse, wiring and planned loads must be checked together.

The number and role of connectors are important for PowerBox compatibility and mechanical integration.

The connector alone does not define the safe load capacity

A 120A or 50A Anderson connector is safe for the given current only if the complete DC current path – main fuse, battery cable, main DC wiring, connector main cables and battery/BMS – is sized accordingly.

EnergonX PowerBox compatibility

Electrical compatibility and mechanical mountability are not the same.

Electrical compatibility

The TY-PSW-6000 can be used electrically with every 12V and 24V EnergonX PowerBox model if the connection, fusing, wiring and battery are sized for the planned inverter current draw.

Mechanical mountability

Due to its physical size, it can be mounted as an external module on NOMAD, KARAVÁN and EXPLORER models. With CSERKÉSZ, a separate placement and connection solution must be agreed.

CSERKÉSZ use

For the CSERKÉSZ model this is usually not the most practical choice; the 4000W version is normally sufficient with a 50A Anderson connector.

120A Anderson default logic

These larger inverter modules are normally supplied with a 120A Anderson connector. When matching them to an existing or smaller EnergonX unit, the connector type and the complete DC current path must be checked separately.

Retrofitting to an existing EnergonX unit

A high-power inverter must not be selected based on the connector alone.

System review is required with an 80A main fuse

If the inverter is ordered later for a PowerBox model that has, for example, an 80A main fuse, the main fuse and the related wiring must also be reviewed and replaced if necessary.

A larger main fuse can only be used safely if the complete current path is sized for it: this may include battery cables, main fuse cables, Anderson connector main cables and other high-current DC connections.

Always ask EnergonX for support, because this modification requires a qualified professional and a system-level check.

The battery must also be suitable for full output

With a larger inverter, battery compatibility is not only a voltage question. BMS continuous and peak load capability, battery capacity, wiring and the full PowerBox system must be checked together.

In an existing EnergonX unit, the built-in battery may need to be replaced if the full inverter capacity is required.

Protection functions and display

According to the manufacturer data sheet, the inverter has several basic protection and feedback functions.

Protection functions

Low voltage, high voltage, overload, high temperature and short-circuit protection. If the input is connected in reverse, the connection must be corrected.

LCD display and alarm

The display may show input voltage, output voltage, power, capacity, frequency, waveform and alarm identification. A buzzer is also included for fault indication.

Cooling and environment

The inverter requires proper ventilation and heat dissipation. Vents must not be covered, and the device must not be operated in a closed, overheating location.

230 V, grounding and professional commissioning

This device is an external 230 V inverter module

When connecting an external inverter, UPS module, mains charger, generator or any other external 230 V device, the DC-side power is not the only point to check. The grounding, protective conductor, neutral conductor and electrical-protection requirements of the given 230 V device must also be checked.

Any modification, creation or bypassing of a protective conductor, grounding, neutral conductor or N–PE bond may only be carried out by a properly qualified electrical professional. The inverter must not be modified or opened by the user.
