Errors and solutions

The table below contains the most common faults that may occur with the EnergonX unit, their likely causes and possible solutions.

Fault symptom

Possible causes

Troubleshooting and suggested solutions

1. The unit does not turn on; there is no voltage at the connectors.

1. The main switch is turned off.
2. The battery is discharged or not connected.
3. A blade fuse has tripped/blown.

Turn on the main switch.
Check the battery condition and wiring.
Replace the blade fuse if necessary.

2. The built-in voltage display shows no value.

1. The main switch (80A) is off.
2. Battery voltage is low.
3. There is a fault in fuse group 1.

Turn on the main switch.
Check the battery.
Check and replace the fuse in fuse group 1.

3. The USB charging socket does not work and does not light up.

1. Main switch is off.
2. Faulty fuse.
3. USB socket microswitch is off.
4. Low battery voltage.

Turn on the main switch and the USB microswitch.
Check the fuse.
Check the battery charge level.

4. One or more blade fuses blow regularly.

1. Overload.
2. Short circuit.
3. Incorrect fuse rating.

Reduce the load.
Check the wiring.
Use only the factory-recommended fuse rating.

5. The control switch does not switch a consumer on.

1. Switch is faulty or incorrectly wired.
2. Fuse has blown.
3. Consumer is faulty or overloaded.

Check the switch.
Replace the fuse.
Test the consumer on a separate power source.

6. USB lights up, but does not charge.

1. Faulty USB cable.
2. Incompatible device.

Try another cable or another device.

7. Charging does not work through the 50A connector.

1. Main switch is off.
2. 50A fuse has blown.
3. Faulty charger.
4. Battery fault.

Turn on the main switch.
Check and replace the 50A fuse.
Contact a specialist if necessary.

8. The device connected to the 50A Anderson socket does not work.

1. Main switch is off.
2. AGU fuse has blown.
3. Faulty device or cable.

Check the fuse.
Check the device from a separate power supply.
Ask for expert help if necessary.

When should you contact a specialist?

  • If any uncertainty, electrical problem or unclear symptom occurs while using the EnergonX unit, switch the unit off immediately and contact an electrician or authorized service provider.
  • Do not attempt to disassemble or repair the EnergonX unit yourself if you do not have the required expertise, as this may cause further damage, void the warranty or result in personal injury.

Basic checking process (quick test)

  1. Turn on the main switch (80A automatic circuit breaker).
  2. Check the voltage display mounted on the front panel. If it shows voltage (approx. 12-13V), it means that the battery is connected and fuse group 1 of the blade fuses is also working.
  3. Turn on the microswitch of the USB socket. The socket should light up.
  4. If it does not light up, check the blade fuse belonging to the socket and the battery charge level.
⚠️ Safety warning!
  • Perform all checks and fuse replacements only with the main switch turned off!
  • Do not use a fuse with a higher rating than the factory-recommended value!
  • If you are unsure, contact a specialist, because incorrect troubleshooting may cause further damage and void the warranty.
