12V LiFePO4 AC charger

Fast mains charging for 4S LiFePO4 batteries

The 110–220 V AC mains-powered desktop charger is designed to charge 4-series (4S), nominal 12V LiFePO4 battery packs with a fixed 14.6 V final charging voltage and up to 20 A charging current.

Thanks to its CC/CV charging profile optimized for LiFePO4 chemistry, it can be suitable for fast and stable charging in boats, camper vans, workshops, or off-grid systems, provided that the battery and connection match these charging parameters.

What is it for?

For mains charging of 12V, 4S LiFePO4 batteries when the source is not vehicle-side DC power, but direct AC mains power.

Why is it useful?

The 20 A charging current can allow faster charging, while the 14.6 V final voltage matches a 4S LiFePO4 system.

What system is it for?

For 12V LiFePO4 energy systems where the battery chemistry, nominal voltage, and charging connection are compatible with this charger.

On mobile, the table can be dragged left and right.

Main advantages

  • It operates from mains power, making it convenient to use in a workshop, at a base location, or near a permanent AC source.
  • The fixed 14.6 V final charging voltage matches 4S LiFePO4 systems.
  • The 20 A charging current can allow faster recharge for a suitable battery.
  • The CC/CV charging characteristic is tailored to LiFePO4 chemistry.

Use and connection

  • Use it only with a battery whose nominal system voltage and chemistry match the charger parameters.
  • The charger connection must always be matched to the specific PowerBox configuration.
  • Before first use, it is advisable to check connector polarity and cable compatibility.
  • With a higher-capacity battery, 20 A charging can be beneficial, but the specific BMS and battery manufacturer recommendations should also be taken into account.

Warning

  • It may only be used with LiFePO4 batteries, not with other battery chemistries.
  • It is not intended for 24V or 36V LiFePO4 systems.
  • Incorrect charger connection or reversed polarity may damage the system.
  • Actual suitability must always be verified based on the specific battery, BMS, and connection.
Important: for this product, compatibility does not only mean that it can be physically connected to a PowerBox. The battery inside the PowerBox must be a 12V, 4S LiFePO4 system, and the charging connection must also match this charger.
